Richard Branson launched Virgin Unite in September 2004 to tackle tough social challenges using Virgin's global resources and its people. We're now focused on not just what we can raise in monetary terms, but how the many skills of Virgin staff can be put to good use.

Every member of Virgin Money staff is given a free day to allow them to get involved with charitable work one day a year. As well as being totally committed to Virgin Unite, we also actively support our local community. Our staff work with local and national projects and many more take part in a wide range of fundraising - running marathons, swimathons, dragon boat racing, mountain climbing, cake baking and much more.
